We had an amazing experience at Louis C. Jacob. The location is marvelous, with a great view of the river Elbe from the restaurant and patio. The rooms are luxurious and elegant, and we particularly loved the comfortable bathtub. The staff provided friendly and excellent service, making us feel at home in Hamburg. The breakfast in the superb main dining room was among the best we have had in any hotel. Dining at Restaurant Jacob was a feast for the senses, truly a memorable experience. Thank you, Louis C. Jacob, for a wonderful stay!
Almost perfect! 👌

Service and attention to every detail.
As hotel guests, we expected to be able to have dinner in the hotel. Booked out, so big disappointment.

My girlfriend booked this hotel for my 30th Birthday. It is one of the best hotels I've stayed in by far. It exceeded all the expectations as soon as we arrived. The staff was polite and the ambience was great. The rooms were big, bright and clean. I would rate it 7 stars in terms of luxury and customer service. Definietly booking it for my next trip to Hamburg. Thank you for making our stay an amazing experience. P:S- Wish we had more hotels like Louis C.Jacob in London.

The hotel's breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of foods to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby landmarks and attractions. The view of the river was stunning and provided a serene ambiance in the morning, perfect for starting off the day in a relaxed and peaceful way.
The lack of air conditioning in the rooms made for an uncomfortable experience during the warmer days. the noise from the nearby street made it difficult to keep the windows open for the entire night.

Good atmosphere
The fact that some rooms are located in another building(s) across the streets.

I thought the staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly - always smiling/genuine and professional. The atmosphere was welcoming and not at all pretentious. The breakfast was delicious and the wine selection at Kleines Jacob was impressive. The overall stay was extremely pleasant, and I would defiinitely go back.
I would have liked it if the shuttle bus option was available throughout the day or at least all morning. Also the juice at breakfast should be freshly pressed for a hotel of this standard.

We loved the very convenient location near the ferry station, which provided us with easy access to transportation around this beautiful city. The breakfast with a view of the Elbe River was exceptional, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel facilities. The staff were very friendly and professional, making sure we felt welcome throughout our stay.
All was perfect.

The suite at Hotel Louis C. Jacob was absolutely stunning! The high ceilings and ballroom flair made me feel like royalty during my stay. The living room and bedroom were spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable king-size bed. The natural stone bathroom added a touch of luxury to my temporary home. I couldn't ask for a more special place to stay as a solo traveler like myself.
Personally, the gallery with a desk and couch in the suite didn't really appeal to me. It felt a bit unnecessary and took up space that could have been used for something else.

This hotel redefined luxury for us. From the moment we entered, we were pampered with exclusive amenities like a private facility, sauna, and Jacuzzi. The sun terrace and garden area were the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Our room had exclusive advantages like a stunning view, and the restaurant served continental breakfast every morning. The bar/ lounge area was trendy and cozy, and the packed lunch with special diet menus impressed us.
The location which was a bit far from the city center and all the exciting places. However, this minor issue was outweighed by the exceptional service we received from the staff.

I always return for the perfect romantic escape. The staff helped me find a lost item on my first visit. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant. No regrets.

The location was definitely a highlight. It was conveniently close to the ferry station and allowed for easy access to the centre of the city. Plus, being located just in front of the river made for a lovely view and a calming atmosphere. Taking the ferry was probably the best part of the stay. The facilities were well-maintained, and the room had all the necessary amenities. The service was also top-notch; the staff was attentive and accommodating, always making sure that guests had everything they needed. Breakfast had a good variety of choices and was quite satisfying.
There was an issue with the log-in procedure to access the internet, which was a bit of a hassle.
